I didn't bring my DSLR in the end. I decided I didn't want to bring anything that couldn't fit into my pockets. So today's photo is courtesy of my handy 2.0 mega-pixels camera phone, which has been with me for more than 3 years. In this photo, my grandma was in the midst of her second blood transfusion. Since the cause of her severe anemia is still unknown (no internal or external bleeding), her case is unique and therefore, she will be under observation for a week. This is my grandma's first hospital stay since more than 30 years ago when she was giving birth to her last child. So far, she's been pretty calm and relaxed throughout the whole event (as is always been in her nature), but sometimes being quiet doesn't feel right for most of us. Inshaallah, everything will be okay.
