It was the maternal's barbecue gathering yesterday at Changi beach. The beach was well yeah the beach. But the food was awesome and plentiful as usual. There were of course some very good moments from yesterday but eating pretty much summed up my night. There were mee siam, kway teow goreng, mee goreng, fried rice, plain rice together with side dishes like sambal tumis telur, beef steak kicap and fried vegetables, barbecued chicken, cuttle fish (my personal fave!), ribs, chicken satay, mutton satay and babat satay together with lontong and peanut sauce, fish and prawn keropok, and chocolate muffins! I should have taken photos of the food but with the food all spread out like that my hands were too busy holding on to something else other than my camera by then. Sigh, I'm hungry.
