So I was cleaning the shoes area in my house and came across my old U.S. Polo Assn. boots. I tried it on and it still fits! I used to wear them all the time in my early teens when I was 13, 14, 15ish. My favorites were mostly sneakers and the kind of boots that looked like my old U.S. Polo Assn.. I'd pair them with pants and even skirts. But there was also this pair of black platforms that's similar to Mary Jane styled creepers but without the straps, which I thought made me look kinda feminine. Of course at that point of time, I was hugely influenced by the dressing style of lead actresses from late 90s teenage romance movies such as 10 Things I hate About You, She's All That and Never Been Kissed. I still have the pair of Doc Martens (still in the box) I bought 8 years ago, which I never wear because I started gaining weight and nothing fits anymore. I think it's only when I entered polytechnic that I started wearing flats. Now I'm all for flats, slip-ons and flip flops because they're comfortable. Perhaps this change is a sign of aging?
Hello.
Space includes photos captured by me, my drawings and paintings, and other miscellaneous art-related projects. Though still a noob, they are, after all, products of my boredom, hoping that something good will come out of it, some day that may be one will turn out to be some kind of masterpiece (: Enjoy.
