The moment I'd arrived at my uncle's house, I'd taken a nap. 3 hours straight to be exact. I can't help it. When I woke up, it was already 630pm and more people'd already arrived. They'd also started the barbecue and there were already food prepared. There were chicken, meat, cuttlefish and fish. Noodles, salad and potato. My mum brought ice-cream too! Just as the sun dipped and the skies turned dark, fireworks were set off from neighbors' yards and the sounds could be heard from every direction. We walked, while some cycled around the residential area and then set on curbs by this particular house which'd been setting off fireworks one after another. It was so much fun to watch it by the curb at close proximity. The night'd been awesome. I don't think I would get the chance to experience such a night in Singapore. I'd like to think that most of us had slept soundly that night.
