Hello world. Or anyone who's up on the Internet. Or specifically anyone who's on my site reading this now haha. So yesterday I went to the huge Border's clearance sale up at Expo after work. My sisters and I bought a few books. I only bought one and some other misc. stuff I know I'm just gonna throw them in my box of other stuff I never do anything to. Like patterned papers, and ribbons, and postcards. Anyway, the book I bought was by an author I've never heard of. It's about this dude on his way to be an ultimate gangster and his aim to bring down The Cardinal, who is like the godfather of all godfathers. I like it 'cos it's mafia-like and also... it sort of fall under the fantasy genre too. Once in awhile I like to read books about separate universes and humans with powers and out of this world creatures. Although I only read until book 4 of the Harry Potter series, after that I simply got bored of it and resort to only the movie versions. Whoever said J.K. Rowling as the next J.R.R. Tolkein was seriously whacked. Also on the Thursday before, I popped by the Borders at Wheelock and bought Chuck Palahniuk's Diary. Yesss my favorite of all his books and I know I've borrowed them from the library countless times but I HAD TO BUY THIS one 'cos the cover's by Vintage and it is so damn nice! :D
