"If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking."

I finally finished the book I mentioned on my last post, Procession of the Dead by D. B. Shan. I have to say that it's a good book. It was definitely a page turner. It was hard to put down because I desperately wanted to know how the end was like without skipping any pages. I know I'm a slow reader. I've always wondered how people can read so fast that the images in their head must have moved in motion blur. Or not. I don't know. But for me, I like to take my time envisaging the details; going back and re-creating the whole image in my head, changing bits and parts of it. So I've finally come to the end, and it was totally unexpected. Now I think I'm gonna check out some of my dad's books, which are mostly fantasy and sci-fi before I go back to reading Palahniuk, Murakami or Gaarder again. I gotta admit I don't read all genres of books. Or put it another way, I'm just fickle. Whatever right haha. But it's good to go back and forth between the two genres I like.
