Hello.

Space includes photos captured by me, my drawings and paintings, and other miscellaneous art-related projects. Though still a noob, they are, after all, products of my boredom, hoping that something good will come out of it, some day that may be one will turn out to be some kind of masterpiece (: Enjoy.

"We can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness."

It's another stay home Saturday. Work's been pretty slack these days that I take more random walks in the building going up and down different floors because I'm bored. Last month I went to the Science Center with Darth for the Sultans of Science exhibition which was really interesting and the IMAX theatre then later stood with little kids eagerly waiting for a chicken egg to hatch… the two twenty-something adults didn't have as much patience and left in the end. Or would rather use our patience for something else. Last Wednesday I met up with the bunch of peeps from my previous workplace, and they treated me to a ride on the Singapore Flyer. I got interrogated and I think I blushed a few times. It was fun though. I want a Polaroid too.

Currently catching up with my cousin on Facebook who never fails to say Hi every few weeks. Somehow the death of his father have brought the families closer. Even before my uncle's passing the bonds had strengthen. We were close as kids but change happened I guess. I feel things are better now though. My cousin will be finished with National Service soon and I think he has really grown and mature. I've not talked about this before. His father was an amazing man. When our two families used to be neighbors, I remembered how he'd decorated my cousin's room. He put up all those remote controlled racing cars on the walls and hung hand-crafted airplanes from the ceilings. It was really cool. He made model ships out of cereal boxes and collected old radios, which he'd also hung on the wall. He has an awesome collection of old Marvel comic books and even drew comics himself. His watercolor paintings are amazing. A serious Star Wars and Beatles fan. He was an artist, an inspiration. Sometimes I listen to my dad talk about him and I can see the happiness and the sadness in my dad's eyes. It's been four months and I still catch him listening to old songs, which lyrics remind him of his older brother.

Wak Omar will always be in my prayers.

Thank You, God, for always being there for me and my family, and forgive us for all our wrong-doings.
