It was Sunday morning and I'd dragged myself out of bed and out of the house to work. Walking down the stairs of my block, I was greeted by splattered blood against the walls and floors. Which was not new to me. A year ago there were pools of blood at the lift and post box area. An argument gone bloody. To work I wore my new favorite accessory, a supposedly ankle bracelet I wear on the wrist instead. And loving the sticker I pasted on my ez-link card I'd bought from Art Box. I finished my work related Sunday to-do list quickly and had time to write Darth a card and doodled on my sketchbook. After which I rushed to the community center from work all excited for the blood donation drive only to get rejected due to low iron. Meaning I only have enough blood for myself but not enough to donate. Instead, I watched Hanies and Amierah had their first blood donation, and my dad the veteran blood donor being so cool and relaxed about it. Hanies freaked out when I told him how thick the needle was (which I swear was true!) and Amierah nearly fainted half-way through that the nurses had to call a doctor. Her blood level was border line, mine was way below border line (result of eating less red meat). Sunday began with blood and ended with it.
Yesterday, the whole Haji Karim and Hajah Rahmah's clan (my grandparents on my mum's side) had a family lunch at Sakura International buffet. When I woke up I actually had breakfast as I was crazy hungry due to missing dinner the night before and dancing an hour non-stop on the Xbox Kinect before sleep. I wore my favorite collared printed dress to lunch and had a huge amount of salmon. Then even had time to draw henna on my little niece's hands. I had a really awesome time with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and little nieces and nephews. Then I window shopped with Dian, which I've not done for so long because both of us are too busy. Never fail to shop/buy something though main purpose was to only window shop when I'm out with her! It was good though.
On Friday, saw this pretty little thing at the vendor's sale at work and had to buy it. It's an ankle bracelet but I'm wearing it on my wrist instead so I can see the sparkly shiny thing. Makes me happy.
This was on Thursday, and I was fasting. It didn't help make my hunger situation any better when the office was freakishly cold, my nails were purple! But it was all better when I reached home and it was warm and my mum cooked nasi lemak for dinner.
